The George Floyd incident was a big buttered steak with some creamy mashed potatoes paired with red wine for the mainstream media. A white police officer kneeling on a black man for nine minutes makes for must-watch commentary for months on months, along with must-watch riots that were spurred by the ugly incident. There is no denying that the nine-minute bystander tape is horrible to watch, and Chauvin overstepped his use of force. But as has been seen over the last 12 months is the media castrating all police officers as villains in a horror show labeled systemic police racism, and the drum beats on.
The latest example is in Columbus, Ohio where a cop shot and killed a black 16-year-old girl who was going to stab another black teenager. LeBron James tweeted a photo of the hero cop and instead villainized him, saying "YOU'RE NEXT," insinuating the cop needs to be put on trial like Chauvin. How did MSNBC cover the hero cop saving a life of a black teenager?
"Ma'Khia Bryant, a 16-year-old in Columbus, Ohio, called the police for help, an officer was on the scene, and 22 seconds later shot her dead. An honor roll student, who was making Tik-Tok videos on makeup and hair. This hasn't stopped," offered Jason Johnson on MSNBC.
Escaping his head was the fact that the princess 16-year-old was milliseconds away from stabbing another teenager with a 6-inch blade. But yes, the cop shot her because she was an honor roll student who made Tik-Tok videos, of course. This is the same media who made excuses for Jacob Blake, a black man who was shot after grabbing a knife from his floorboard to stab a cop, Rayshad Brooks, a black man who was shot after fighting the cops and stealing a taser and attempting to deploy it on the cop, among numerous other criminals. The message from the media and the Democratic party? Commit crimes, fight police, and we will continue to have your back. It's about power. The mainstream media is a Marxist entity whose goal is to divide and conquer. It's that simple. They are enabling criminal activity and are creating an environment that makes it impossible for cops to do their job.
Crime in major cities has skyrocketed in the past year, with metro cities averaging a 30% increase in violent crime. It's no coincidence. It's what happens when you attack the good guys and make saints out of the criminals. Get out of the cities, it's only going to get worse.
